Summary:
This position supports production through prompt responses to equipment and facility problems and by providing maintenance on automated equipment and robotic welding systems.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems for automated MIG welding, tube bending, and assembly equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair automated press controls and feeders.
Troubleshoot and repair resistance welding controls and equipment.
Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
Provides continuous improvement to existing systems
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
One to three years experience working with robotics is required.
Prior experience with PLC's, ladder logic, and electronics; or equivalent in education (associates degree, certification, training, etc.).
Strong background with welding equipment is useful.
Able to operate machinery, hand, power, and measuring tools.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and TS16949/ISO14001 is helpful.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
